User reached 50GB outlook OST file and needs to archive emails. How so he can search his old emails?

Curious.

How do you guys solve that issue in smartermail. In exchange thats easy, but I havent gotten it to work in Smartermail.

1) Delete the OST and let it rebuild as needed.

2) rename the account to *_archive and recreate the original name.    Connect both accounts to Outlook.   User can manually move some data from archive to original.if necessary.

3) Try EMclient, which uses EAS instead of MAPI and may cace differently.

Sadly, hosted Exchange still works better than SmarterMail for users with massive inboxes
