If I have domain.com ... and a "alias.com" .. (which an alias of the domain.com).
Should the alias.com .. have all the settings / dkim/spf as does the domain.com (as far as email goes) ...
I would think so, but have just been challenged by an auditor.. so am now asking the "experts"
Thanks

I believe any domain used to send or receive email should have its necessary DNS accoutrements. That would include DKIM, SPF, MX, rDNS, etc. So my answer, at least, would be "Yes, a domain alias should have the same set up in DNS as the primary domain."
