Importing 10K mailboxes from exchange to smartermail

We are using Smartermail 16 and we have a customer with 10k mailboxes and using Microsoft Exchange server.

We want to import all of their mailboxes and migrate their data from Exchange server to ours. I already know that it is possible using Smartermail mailbox migration. But it's so time consuming and kind of impossible to do it one by one for all 10.000 mailboxes.

I just wanted to know if there is another workaround to to do this.

Hello. Have you looked into the IMAPSync tool here: https://imapsync.lamiral.info/ This will migrate all of the mail. Do you also have calendars and contacts that you would need to move over?

You can also automate the mailbox migration process for each user by writing a script with the API Web Services: https://mail.smartertools.com/Documentation/api#/topics/overview
